Numerous Narraweena players have played International, Interstate and Grade Rugby League. Others have coached and officiated at International, National and NRL level. There are numerous names and without listing them, it can be said, the club is honoured to have had them pull on a Narraweena jumper at some stage during their career. The Club has also had players that have played with the club over many years with over 300 games having been achieved by Wayne(Doc) Collins, Daryl Collins and Ian Cridland.
Narraweena is proud of each team that competes under the club banner. A number of exceptional performances have been achieved by teams. These include the club’s 1965 under 9 team, which went through six consecutive seasons undefeated. The coach was Ted Rashleigh and he kept the team together until 1971 when 12 of its 18 players were selected in the Manly S G Ball squad (See Picture on Left). The 1963 under 12 team coached by Leo De Bressac stayed together for 10 years and only missed the grand final once. They won 4 premierships. In 1980, Ron Woods coached the club’s first A Grade Premiership winning team. In 1982 he and his team clinched the title again. The club had to wait until 2004 until it won its next A Grade Premiership. Coached by Chris Reilly, he and his team, won the Premiership again in 2005.
